B525 LIGHT
Folks, I’m aware that 12g SAM 1 wads can suffer from blown gas seals in some overbored barrels. Has anyone ever experienced this in a Browning 10g barrel? cheers!
motty
I have never had any issues with any Sam1 wads. My Browning Gold 10 seems to like them, too.
figgy
Suppose it depends how hot a load your using.

shakin stevens
Sure I read something on the duck hunting forum about this , have a look because I had few do it in 10b , so I went seaching on the American forums . Smiler23
Would it matter if gas seals are blown? If the load patterns well and kills well?, I've had some do it too. But going off published data it's all within limits. Sam 1 are my preferred wad for 10'bore,
Fen tiger
It happens but agree it effects nothing.

I use factory steel a bit. My home loads are 1 5/8 oz steel or 2 oz hw13. All seem to perform well.
