SNAKEBITE
Make sure you know the artist is good before you get a tattoo or this could happen .................

death from below
I hope its a wind up.....if not then I bet the tattooist got a good shoe-ing.....thats bloody awful.....there was a Newcastle fan who got a giant tattoo of Andy Cole(striker for newcastle) and as life is, he promptly transferred over to Man Utd. the only thing the tattoist could change andy cole into was a great big Harley davidson.....the bloke didn't even like motorbikes but it was better than having a man Utd player all over his body. farmboy
Someone I work with has half of a tattoo! He says he ran out of money and never got it finished. He's always been a bit daft.
Andy W
Seen that one before, it is awful, for portrait tattoos go to someone who specialises in them like Darren Stares or Paul Myth Naylor.
Graham M
Don’t know how true it is but I heard about a “Partick Thistle†fan who got rat-***** and had a tattoo of his club put on. He had this tattoo on for ages before someone noticed that the dozy tattooist had written “Patrick Thistle†by mistake. G.M.

lurcherboy
That's shocking It is very easy to make a mistake when choosing ink I had a mate that had a sort of skull/winged thing on his upper arm (we were sort of bikers back then) and while walking around the Kent bike show in the mid eighties that was put on by the Kent chapter of the hells angels, he was spotted by a probationer who reported my friends faux pa. The upshot was him being dragged off to the tattoo tent and the resident artist was forced to black the whole area. It didn't look pretty and from that day on he was known as spot. We still laugh about it now, well I do, so let that be a lesson you all it's for life chaps. LB
Andy W
If you have got time to sift through, there are some really poor tattoos amongst this lot that will leave you shocked. http://www.skindeep.co.uk/forums/showthrea...age=1&pp=

davo
Any reputable Tattooist should have a photographic port-folio for you to look at of work that they have done, I emphasise this because some will show you photographs of tattoos done by other artists, but will then assure you that they can do that as well just as good no problem!! Personal recommendations or getting to see the artists work first hand is best, or you end up with..... something else.
