shalfordninja33
8 just flew over the outskirts of Braintree. they fly over my office in Colchester once a week or so. Are they rotating from somewhere? Its usually group of 3 or 4. Never seen eight in one go. An impressive sight! Are they based in Norfolk? wymberley
I haven't a clue. Last time it was a Chinook which I didn't hear (having a really bad worse than usual day) coming which went over just a few yards to one side at next to nothing height. Made I jump. It was playing with the lads from the CTC. Today, I heard them coming - 2 Apache slow and very low - did I say low - don't know what they are now, but in my day it was SNEB and suffice to say I could see that the launcher wasn't loaded. CTC again no doubt.

getthegat
Woh! Tightchoke, that some new pigeon shooting arsenal you got there. You think the locals may have a few minor noise issues ?
TIGHTCHOKE
I might try it if we had any pigeons to shoot at!

Pistol p
They flew over while I was on the shoot. They fly from Wattisham down to the firing ranges near shoeburyness on exercises and back.

pigeon controller
We had the Red Arrows over us last Saturday. I thought it was a ploy from JDog sent them from Scampton to break up the flightline, it worked by the way.
Pistol p
Correction on my account. It was part of a fly past for armed forces celebration day in Suffolk.
