Pigeon Shredder.
Now l know there's a small minority on here who like a drink, but can someone explain how anyone could pay £848.000 for a bottle of scotch, and why it commanded the price it attained. Rob525
Crazy! Was just reading this. I suppose its the elite of the world that earn this in half a day, like us spending half a days wage on somthing special for an occasion... although most of us dont have the equivalent saveings these guys do! Lord v
Easily. It will be old, probably put into its first barrel before you were born. The mash from the finest barley. From a small batch distillery.
GingerCat
You can keep it. I'd rather spend it on carts or anything really other than scotch.

John_R
I've seen Brandy in fancy bottles, boxed in even fancier cases, with prices over 2 grand. Crazy, but I guess someone buys them.
Rob525
It was 848 thousand if you missed the 0!
John_R
Today, in a wholesaler, I saw a Jereboam of Remy Martin with a price tag of 18 grand. Just as well I could avoid paying retail...
Terry2016
I have a bottle of whisky that was gifted to me by a good friend, the cost is in the region of £1000. it is a Royal Salute 38 years old bottled in porcelain and gold plated stopper. The taste is fantastic.. i drink a glass with my son when we have something to celebrate. My usual tipples are Jameson or Highland park around the £20/30 mark .. but the above os something special.. and it tastes it. Its a drink made to be drunk and enjoyed... Cheers to all atb Terry Edited October 13, 2018 by Terry2016
