wigeon jim
I have the chance off one ton of treated wheat that wasn't sown last year, anyone used this sort of wheat for feeding pheasants or ducks,. Jim.
Scully
I wouldn't think it would do them much good as it's meant for planting, not eating. There are a lot of pesticides contained within treated wheat, I'm led to believe. Someone may know better.
CharlieT
It will have been treated with a fungicide, most of which are classed as an acute toxin category 4. No way would I feed it to pheasants.
Konnie
if I get any I 50/50 mix it and use for loose feeding, if you put it in feeders the birds peck it out looking for better stuff. Yes it is treated but it's what they are eating on drilled fields pigeons pheasants rooks etc, Never turn free feed down

The Burpster
We tried some we were given on a shoot I was captain on quite a few years ago. Fed the squirrels and Corvids well but the birds hated it and I’m sure we lost a lot to a neighbouring shoot as a result. My advice based on experience..... avoid at all cost.
