Frank
Welcome any time Frank We were a bit worried whether we'd see anything for Marks trip down, like has been said there are plenty around but it's a bit hit and miss seeing them. I know exactly what you mean John, some nights you can go out and see 15 , the next night, you might see just the 1, usually running off. Frank. My lamp man is finally back in town so hopefully I'll finally able to get back lamping! One sniffing around my pheasant pen for the last week.. For anyone who's never heard a moderated .223 the thud of the bullet hitting the fox was a LOT louder than the shot being fired Brings a smile to my face every time John if your going for a Suppressor go for the ASE Utra AU S5!! (about €300) half the size and quiter than a T8 Just passed the hundred Magpies and 40 greys in the freezer

Dead-Eyed Duck
Good write up as usual John. You make it sound so easy, when all fox shooters know that it's not. Lovely part of the island where you live - I used to travel there a lot on business a few years ago, and a great place and wonderful characters. EoinGalway
Cheers Eoin, the ASE & T8 are the same price. Going to be cheeky now, is there any chance Eoin that a couple of Connemara lads could hear your ASE in action? No problem.. PM me and we'll sort something
tikkamark
Brings a smile to my face every time John if your going for a Suppressor go for the ASE Utra AU S5!! (about €300) half the size and quiter than a T8 Just passed the hundred Magpies and 40 greys in the freezer I cant see how the ase is quieter than the t8 as the t8 has a way larger expansion chamber But id say its a good bit lighter.Have 330 foxey tails 290 magpies and 100 greys in my freezer its fairly full at this stage
grasshopper
Excellent stuff gents Good write up as usual John. You can,t beat the satisfaction of hearing the bullet hit home.. The cub i got the other night was special as i heard the crack of the rifle, then for the first time, the bullet whistle across the field and finally that solid thud as it hit home. Keep at them fellas GH
