Heads Up - LBC on crow shooting

Recommended Posts

Soon to start, the hand wringing darling of climate change protestors, vegans and other idealists is shortly to start taking callers questions on the crows hanging off Packhams gate.

LBC gets nationwide coverage and OBriens show is popular so this is a call to arms to those that have a well rounded argument and are across the facts to put our case forward. I honestly would but I am in meetings with clients until 1pm at least.

Please, if you do ring in, 0345 60 60 973 don't rant or go off on one, it needs to be a calm, well reasoned argument. Maybe mentioned the odd alliances in NE, WJ and the RSPB too?

We’ll see. If they didnt get involved  it will be interesting to know why.

Because they don’t have their finger on the pulse I would assume?

Just like they had no clue NE was going to pull the licence.

Except Packham launches the legal dispute months ago, and NE said they have spent months reviewing the Licencing and made several drafts to try and sort it out.

Why didn’t BASC reach out to them the minute the legal challenges were announced?

On top of that NE are saying they approached BASC et al years ago asking for support to re-write the licences and apparently they didn’t want to know.

Well, I rang their press office, gave them the number, station, presenter, stated that this really was something they needed to be across but missed most of it as I was in meetings, now having a coffee then back to more meetings. If only I actually got paid to have meetings I'd be raking it in. Sadly not.

So, if anyone heard what happened I'd love to know.

When Packham and his herd of vegans aimlessly wander through the fields looking for tofu and quinoa and the lesser spotted **** warbler they will soon starve as hordes of fat pigeons will have eaten everything already and European imports will too be expensive to buy. Of course the farmers will have long gone bust or sold up, the fields will be ruined and councils will have built houses on the land.

Great job Packham.

I have just listened to O' Briens show and believe it or not  he was with us, though he was obviously not that savvy with the real countryside, he seemed genuinely concerned when the callers gave accounts of crop damage and corvid attacks.  I think he took about 6 or 7 calls and non were 100 % Packham supporters, NE came out of it the worst, with everyone agreeing they have not performed properly, and O'Brien thought even Packham didn't plan it to go as far as this, (temporarily, hopefully).
