herby
Hi all Thinking of getting back into bikes after been AWOL due to starting a family for about 4 years. I always wanted a Fireblade and have been looking at the post 2017 models and the SP range with an eye on the RC8 as I like the torque of a twin after having a tuned TLS as my last bike. I've not looked at the BMW yet but wondering what people thoughts were who have some experience with these? Thanks, Herb.

kernel gadaffi
MV F3. The sound of the exhaust should sell it.
theshootist
The RC8R is a super adjustable bike and great if you're tall. However it has none of the rider aids of the up to date bikes. S1000rr would be my choice as i like all the electronic help I can get at 190+ but.
SpringDon
I’d say the st is the pick of the bunch (but there’s no bad bikes anymore). Despite the power, it’s a doodle to ride on the road. So much so, it’s almost boring if that makes sense. Unless track days are your thing, I’d get something that’s a bit more fun on the road. herby
Thanks for the replys. I almost looked at the Panigale and blade and although the Ducati is really nice I almost bought the blade until a S1000RR popped into my head and now waiting on it being prepared. A MV would be nice.
blackbird
Before you commit yourself make sure you take the latest GSXR1000 for a test ride you will love it, I know a guy that works at a local Honda, BMW, KTM dealerships & he was telling me that they just don’t get problems with the blade’s but the S1000RR along with all the other BMW’s are not a patch on the Honda’s reliability wise.
