crow decoying

I need the experts advice on crows

 

right need a plan of action for crows on the farm its mix they roost in the wood but don't come home until dark 

 

but are generally floating about I'm thinking some sort of owl decoy would that work ?

 

or maybe a shot fox from the night before any ideas

when it comes to it yes

they nest in the another wood but in the winter and now 100`s of mixed crows  roost in another wood which I can shot

  In the morning you will have 60+ out on the fields the rest go to the farm next door which has cattle

hello, if you know where the nests are full choke and 4/5 shot 30/32 g cartridge

you could try and decoy them on a field next to the wood if possible, either way just set up where you can and have a bash good luck.

I’m thinkOMG shot fox on a wire frame on edge of cover crop that has a wood on both sides then tucked up in hedge with good hide

I have good results with Owl decoy. On Fleabay artificial taxidermy owl...£20....10 yards away looks like the real thing.

Place out in high visible position and wait.

 Crows will mob it as a predator, more so when nesting or young about to leave nest.

I've done exactly that, with the fox just near a nesting area for Corvids.
