fse10 Posted February 12, 2020 Report Share Posted February 12, 2020 So after some nice lady hitting up rear & writing my car off, i thought stuff it will look for a new one before the pay out. So see a nice Skoda Kodiaq 4x4 i like the look of with a good spec & slightly above avg miles i ring the dealer yesterday. Marshall's Skoda in Newbury to be told is due to go to another site, so i say i can come to look at it tomorrow to which the salesman says ok no worries will just go speak to my boss to get it put on hold. He comes back on the phone to say all sorted thank you i say will see you in the morning between 9 & 11 ok he says. So a two & half hour drive as M25 & M4 was knacked to get there to be told oh sorry it's just left to go to Bristol. Had to get up & leave quick like as was about to loose it with the guy. Wouldn't mind but he said i will make sure it's ready for you to test drive & i have your number any issues will call you. But on the plus side have found a better spec one with a lot less miles on but is a 4-5 hour drive away. So will be speaking to the boss when she gets in. I was going to test drive a car with a view to buying - on the way I got a phone call to tell me that it had been sold. Two weeks later driving past the garage it was still there with an extra several thousand on the screen price.
