mel b3
a few weeks ago , i popped on to amazon to buy a draw knife , ive always got a few little projects going on at the woodland , so i thought that it would come in handy , anyway , when i saw the price of them , i rapidly decided to make one instead . i made it from an old stubbs file , and it seems to work very well indeed . i cant remember the technical info , as i just followed a youtube video . i didnt go too far with the grinding and sanding , because i wanted to show that it used to be a file . the handles were made from oak from my own woodland , that id previously cut and boiled , before drying. Is that in the cauldron you dance around chanting ancient words and magical signs being drawn upon the ground under the full moon 🤔

I copied my shave horse off YouTube. Very cheap and easy to make out of readily available materials. The best bit is, the head can be removed and a separate head can be fitted in seconds, turning it into a spoon mule. Took about a day to make. 👍

Top picture is the shave horse, the bottom picture is the spoon mule. To change them, you just tap out a peg and lift off the head. The shave horse head is a tiny bit more awkward to remove as you have to move the assembly forward and lift the front leg off the floor to get the assembly off.
