Skull id

Does anyone know what the skull is in the left of the pictures. My son found it while walking the dogs and he has asked me to id it. The one on the right is a sheep skull he previously found. I'm stumped.

Left looks like a roe doe. Right looks like a sheep.

I thought it might be a deer as he found it in the woods. But I'm not that clued up on deer having never been close to one.

The small one is a roe doe I believe and quite an old one by the looks of it.

Nice find. Looks in good nick! I often wonder why we don't find more with all the deer about? I thought maybe foxes and badgers have them, but some fox and badgers skulls i have placed out to decay naturally have disappeared to.            NB

I'd say a roe doe too. Give it a clean up and it will look good

Thanks for the id everyone. My wife has given up telling him to put things down when they are out walking the dogs. He's a proper lad, always has something in his hand that he's found that his mother hates.

His mother needs to wisen up as to the needs and interests of a boy like that.

Soak it in hydrogen peroxide to whiten it up and sterilise it
