KillStone
Hi guys don’t suppose anyone knows of any good fair game dealers that’d buy pigeons (not necessarily atm during covid lockdown etc I’m meaning longer term for the future) based in Buckinghamshire Aylesbury/Mk areas if anyone sells to a decent one round either of those areas or within a reasonable distance or if one collects from the areas even better! Thanks

peck
Honeybrook Members 8 posts Report post Posted October 28, 2013 Hi, We are looking for FROZEN STEEL SHOT WOOD PIGEONS. We pay .50p per pigeon and collect from all over the UK on a fortnightly basis with the exception of Scotland which is once a month. The pigeons must be shot using steel and then should have the wings and feet cut off before being frozen. The minimum we could collect is 50 at a time but we have no upper limit and we take them all year round. Please feel free to give Guy or Dave a call on 01386 830089 to discuss or arrange a collection. We will try to get back on here as much as possible to try and answer any questions but if we have not got back to you please just give us a call. We also take rifle shot Rabbits and Hares we pay £1 each for Rabbits and £2.00 Hares. Edited May 15, 2020 by peck

JDog
Jacko, there are still people out there who pay 50p per steel shot pigeon, you just have to get looking. Birds of prey centres are obvious ones. Other people dispose of pigeons via groups on Facebook. Some charge, others give them away. The game dealer local to here is apparently taking pigeons again. Sadly I have none to take to him.
GingerCat
Get a mincer and turn them into sausages and burgers. Great on the bbq. 50/50 pigeon to pork belly or shoulder. As spicey and herby as you like.
