dusk2dawn
Bought Eley subs yesterday, they have gone up 23%. Apply 23% to a box of .223 v-shok and its well over £1 a go. Anyone else had any increases yet? D2D
webber
I bought some .17HMR off DEAKO last week, and thanks to my special discount I actually paid less than I did the same time last year at Target Sports. webber
pin
I had my pants pulled down last night for a box of 250 hull sovereign FITASC's in plastic. They were never a cheap shell (about 160/1000) and I was buying 250 (he gives me the 1000 price on 500) but even still £45 for 250 shells
starlight32
Well I bought last night in readiness the following; 1000 Rottweil 24g 1000 Rio super game 32g 500 winchester trap 100 28g 250 Eley HB pigeon 32g 40 Gamebore Hi speed steel 3.5" 42g 50 Hevi-shot 3" 34g 50 Saga Heavy lead 50g How much do you reckon??? (Think first, answer below) My local outlet was telling me half the people he used to know locally are now not shooting due to the cost, and he reckons by the feedback he is getting from punters number will continue to dwindle. Considering it was late night opening there was only one other person who came in the time I was there which was over two hours, and they bought nothing. Any truth in this do you think??:P? Cartridge cost £443.
john faul
you must have been on over time Cartridge cost £443.
starlight32
you must have been on over time Well I admit the 1000 Rottweil were for my lad. But I am guilty of the others. It is not a problem financially as I have made a few cost cutting exercise's in the starlight household These include; Cutting off of all main untility services including water and power. Making all members of the family survive on bread and water Sent the wife and kids out on hard minimum wage labour 12 hours per day Use your vehicles for only shooting based activity If all PW members adopt these methods accordingly they should find they will surely beat the recent price increases in ammunition. More money saving shooting tips to follow shortly, or if you think of any more please PM me....

I bout 1,000 Eley Superbs last week and 40 Federal 6.5's The Rifle cartrdges were the same they have always been £19.95/20 ("but they are going up next time") so the Superbs must have been about £120/1000 or so. I'm feeling light headed Didn't they tell you about that bit Beleive me, that is cheap, I have had to pay up to £23/20 when they didn't have any, and that is for Classics not for the Premiums - I can't even afford to ask how much they are
moses
I wanted to buy some Norma nosler partition in 6.5, that was until I found out they were 46.50GBP/20 my first question was; "What are they made of?" Needless to say i'll be sticking with federal and winchester
