Old Boggy
Whilst out again in my little wood yesterday, one of the eight pigeons that I shot nearly didn`t make it into my bag. I went to pick it up and a buzzard flew off, perched on a branch just 10 yards away, beak covered in feathers and a look on its face as if to say "How very dare you interrupt my lunch". I attach a photo of said pigeon. Had I been a bit quicker with the phone, I could have taken a photo of the buzzard either on the pigeon or the adjacent branch. It hung around the wood whilst I continued shooting for perhaps another chance of an easy lunch. OB OB

NatureBoy
Had BOPS do the same, taking birds. Been said that BOPs etc get lead poison from feeding on shot game? Accumulated poisoning? Antis have pushed this a few times. Has anyone or our orgs ever found any good science to prove or disprove this? NB
Walker570
Always leave any tree rats in my wood and now I am sure they know why I am there, because as soon as I climb into one of my cabins a buzzard will come and land in a nearby tree.
