THE PIN ONLY JUST MARKS THE CARTRIDGE SO I KNOW THAT IT IS MAKEING CONTACT WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM AS NEVER HAD MUCH TO DO WITH AUTOS ANY SENSIBLE HELP APPRECIATED THANKS
Scully
Strip it down again and remove all the oil you’ve applied? Autos aren’t keen on oil. It’s the only thing I can think of, unless the pin looks pitted or broken.
Rob85
Has it been stored for a long period of time with the action cocked? Could be a weak spring that just doesn't have the piff to set the cartridges off. I have a semi auto rimfire rifle and i always "ease springs" before storing

It’s just a suggestion, I’m no expert. As Rob85 suggests, it may just be a weak spring? There’ll be someone along in a minute who knows what they’re talking about more than I do. Nice gun by the way. Knock off the ‘caps lock’, it makes it appear you’re shouting! 🙂
blackbird
If it is not firing at all that would tell me it’s the firing pin, best bet take it to a gunsmith but as Scully quoted autos don’t like oil. Gunman
Make sure the barrel is fully seated in the reciever and the foreend is screwed on tight .
steve s×s
Hi, this might be obvious so bare with me, if new to semis, when loading first cartridge let the bolt slam shut, only reason I know this same problem with a Fabarm years ago
