Dunkield
Not the most meaningful, but 'Need you tonight' INXS, always reminds me of the fun fair at Le Mans in about '87 as we queued up to see the strippers
Suffolk shooter
Queens - Show must go on. I have had some real **** to deal with in the last few years, but you listen to those lyrics and no that no matter what happens, you just have to get up and get on with it. Especially when you remember that Freddie knew he was dying and yet still inspired millions. RIP Freddie - The Great Pretender SS
Mungler
Jamie, is there something you want to come out with / of? Anyone got any happy lyrical examples? I always liked the tune and lyrics for D J Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince's "Summertime".
njc110381
I have a couple. Someday by Nickelback at one point in my life used to make me cry. It reminded me too much of someone I treated badly when she was trying to help me. It still means a lot to me, although I'm a bit more cheerful about it now  Every breath you take by Sting is another one I like to hear. Some of you oldies may know that one better

If you must know, my Family are all in Oz and last year my sister lost my nephew at birth and four days later my Mum died of Cancer four hours before I arrived in Sydney having rushed over there in the same Hospital. Then almost a year to the day, the same day that would have been my Mum and Dad's anniversary, my sister loses my Niece 10 mins after shes born, four days before the anniversary of her losing my nephew and days before a year ago that my Mum died. Listen to the Lyrics Mungler. SS

monkeyjaimz
Colourblind - Counting Crows Mr Jones - Counting Crows Raining in Baltimore - Counting Crows Sail Away - David Grey Fix You - Coldplay Wet Sand - RHCP Oh Well Part One - Pete Green The Scientist - Coldplay Only in Dreams - Weezer I love all these equally I think, although I especially love the last one as its the song I was 'airdrumming' to just before I was clipped by a lorry (at night) when I was younger. I found my discman in a ditch when I got out of hospital a few days later - and it still worked!

Wookie
Baba O'Reilly - The Who. Surely the best song in the history of the world Love Like Semtex - The Infadels. Reminds me of why I took up wakeboarding Staying Out For The Summer - Dodgy. A classic song from a long time ago (for me anyway) Insanity - Oceanic. Another classic from my 1990's phase Injected With a Poison - Praga Khan (Baby Doc Remix). A club classic Freefall - Chris C (Beatniqz Remix). Another superb floor filler That got me looking through my vinyl collection... I want my decks back now!
Mrs Sweepy
david bowie , life on mars , at the age of 12 you could say that my childhood came to a abrupt end . and for the next 7 years i put myself and my famliy though hell . thankfully we all came out of it still as a whole famliy . manly down to my famliy and their love and determination not to give up on me . i know for a fact if they had not been their .i would not be here today .this songs lyric s so remind me of those times .and how lucky i am to be here and have such a loving famliy to share it with . sinead oconner, nothing compares 2u . at 13 weeks into my second pregnancey i lost the baby . to make matters worse two of my friends were the same amount of weeks pregant as i was at that time . so i had to go though it with them but not have the babe at the end . it is still hard today when you see those children now at the age of 12 . and you think yours should be out playing with them now . this was the first song i heard when i put the radio on after losing it . it still makes me cry . but not such sad tears now . annie lennox , love song for a vampire. this is josh my oldest boy and my song .when i was pregant with him i had this on the radio. when i first felt him move . so after that i would play it to him non stop and he would always move to it .when i play it now it sends me straight back to those wonderful monents which were full of love, excitement hopes and wishes for that little baby that i was carrying inside me . and do you know what the best bit is he has fulfil everyone of them . xxxx suzy
