Mungler
Never liked the fella that much - his 'amazing' self belief extending to believing his own PR. He couldn't cash the cheques his mouth was writing (all the blinking time). Final straw would have been his alleged falling out with John Terry who is by far and away Chelsea's best player. Dunno who will replace him? Would guess Jose will be back off to Europe now - somewhere poncy and posey.... ah Italy of course

Cant believe it was so quick ....I mean he only just won the competition last year! perhaps they will go back to Phillip Schofield or even Jason Donovan FM
LEFTY478
This is devastating news, Jose was the ******** and he'll be sorely missed and not just by Blue's fans. His post match interview were 24 carrot and we've not seen his like, since the days' of Ol' Big 'ead (Brian Clough). He (Jose) has even recently stated his love of life & football in England (is it only us on PW that keep slagging Old Blighty off?) and his desire to stay in English Football. Martin Joel up the road at Spurs has probably got a horribly dry throat this morning.
Owenwill
Always found him quite entertaining, looked forward to his MOTD interviews to see his reactions to some of the questions, he was certainly a character who I reckon will be missed in the Premiership. When 2 Premiership titles isn't enough to keep the big boss happy u wonder what he had to do
garyb
It's bad news for us I think He was such a motivation to the players when things were not going to plan, which oftern saw us coming back to win in the 2nd half.
Dunkield
He is absolutely minted, he will be able to walk into a similar job somewhere else (if he wants to) And according to most women, he is good looking s.o.a.b. I doubt he is crying into to his cornflakes somehow...
Devon Fox
Ha ha ha ha love it, smug greasy plonker! as above, rich, women love him, he wont give a stuff ....... another journey man runs off into the sun set with a fat wallet. Mungler
Terry Venables, but don't lend him any money and check the receipts when he comes back from player shopping
pin
I found him entertaining but never liked him much, he did talk a load of old **** 90% of the time. To be fair though I could probably have managed 2 titles with that much money so lets not get carried away with his achievements
Cranfield
In the beginning his massive ego was a novelty and entertaining , I was prepared to believe he was something special, but I never saw any evidence in his tactics. With the "quality" of players on the field, Chelsea were not playing entertaining football that the neutral could appreciate. Although he had players brought in over his head, he also signed a few over paid turkeys as well. I am definitely not an Arsenal supporter (ex Tottenham junior), but they are playing nice to watch football and haven't spent anywhere near the same sums of money in transfers, or wages. He will go away with his £10m compensation, write a book and get another well paid job somewhere else, so the crazy world of football goes on. Nothing to do with the Jose situation, but it always amuses me that when a Manager is sacked for being rubbish, his name always appears on the short list for another Manager's job. Its the same names on a roundabout.
Fisherman Mike
Oh Sorry Guys I thought you were talking about JOSEph.... I think only Scolari can bring Chelsea a European Title..........But I also think Abramovitch has lost interest and is looking for a new play thing, perhaps Artic Oil Exploration or Lunar Colonisation........ With all his money at least he could get himself some decent clobber and smarten himself up a bit. Ultimately with the resources Jose has had at his disposal in the last few years he has made a bit of a hash of it.....Even Dennis Wise could have done the Job. Is this the beginning of the slippery slope for Lumpalard, Dead I am Dogsbreath and Jailbird Terry ? Im pretty sure Shevchenko and Ballacks days at the Bridge are numbered..... and good job too they are both rubbish. Who really cares???? MC
Why is it always the manager that loses their job because the team is ****? The players should be getting their ***** kicked for not performing/playing like a bunch of girls and not scoring goals like they are paid an absolute fortune to do. I agree with PIN, given the ammount of money that jose whatshisface has had to spend I think anyone could have put a team together to win something. This is one of the reasons I HATE football and couldn't really care two hoots if they never played another game ever.

Devon Fox
I think with the money at his disposal anyone could have done that job, boring to say the least. and old football phrase (think it was Shankly talking about gooners originally?) If Chelsea were playing in my back garden, i would pull the curtains! Could you imagine what would happen to Chelski if roman called it a day?, there is meant to be a contingency fund in place, few million, that would be gone in 3-4months on wages? Chelsea --- THE END IS NIGH !!!!

pin
Another case of "who's the looser" here? Well, it's the fans. "The special one" walks away with £25m (the disclosed amount). Roman has so much money it's not actually funny. Let's say he'd spent a billion, which he hasn't, then this would represent about 1/18th of his fortune. Lets put that in perspective with "average joe". He's got a 100k mortgage and debts of about 5k on top. His household earns about £1300 after tax based on him and spouse working. His "fortune" could be described as something like £175k + savings. Lets say he's worth a generous £250k. 1/18th of £250k is about £13,800. About the same as a reasonable family car. Put that into Abramovich's league and it's a sneeze in the water, nothing to him. The fans still buy tickets, they buy replica shirts and merchandise. Roman has paid some, but most of it comes down to the fans. They don't get anything from this, in fact they are a lot worse off. Football can't be allowed to continue as it is, market forces will see to that soon enough. How can players paid close to £200,000/week and not performing be propped up by the market any longer? Massive horrible bubble about to burst.
digger
Agree to a certain extent Pin but for fans read mugs or customers. The average Chelski fan is a johhny come lately who proclaims support, the extent of which never extends beyond the arm chair or wearing an over priced replica top down the local. Football ceased being a sport when slime were allowed to treat clubs as play things, much in the same way as selling TVR to a spoilt brat was the final nail in the coffin of British cars. The club I supported since the late 70s was moved to the other side of London to support a property deal, now they call themselves MCdons and are the scum of the football world. I still support the real Wimbledon and find it amusing that " fans " of premiership clubs think they have any voice at all when they are just as much customers of a buisiness as Tesco shoppers. Make you right that the bubble will burst and long over due it is B)
