Two pheasant syndicate days in high winds.

We never get a big amount of shooting on our shoot - it's as much about the craic. I've put two days together for this clip.

Another great couple of days.Its not about the size of the bag it's about the company ,dogs ,laughs and everything else when your surrounded by people with the same mindset as you.

Hope your season continues to be successful both inland and on the shore.

Bit of nifty shooting there, must say you have some interesting cover there in those scrubby woods with plenty undergrowth.

Thanks blackpowder. It is a very diverse bit of ground. Every thing from open farmland to mature woodland to marshy wetlands.

I have had a few of those, "what am I doing here" days, but you always turn out for the next one.🙂
When there are not a lot of birds in the bag, you remember every one you shoot.

I thought the ones you annotated as the long crosser and, immediately after, the one in the sun were stupendous shots!  It's always difficult to estimate from camera footage but they must have been 50yd birds?

Thanks Jim - those two were a long way out. They were certainly more than 40 yards but I'm not sure how far they were tbh. I was just happy to get them!

Absolutely true. I have only ever been on one "big" day, and I get more enjoyment working my dogs on small syndicate days. It is certainly not about numbers!
