holloway
Was listening to a couple of different sounding planes going over in the dark this morning, then in daylight another definitely not following the usual flight lines through my bins it looked very different to a usual airline jet ,the only RAF plane that it resembled was a RC -135W Rivet Joint I suppose it could have been American ? heading East ish ,maybe a common sight elsewhere or maybe I just haven’t noticed before down here in Devon. TIGHTCHOKE
Lots of Rivet Joints in this part of the world since last week. Even getting E8s, all based upon the old Boeing 707 airliner. Ours and the Americans are up each day to fly along the Polish border. Have you tried Flight Radar or ADS B Exchange? The aircraft that the Nimrod replaced was described as 50,000 rivets flying in loose formation.

Their confidence has grown since this morning when they were over Germany. On their way back to Fairford now.
Minky
Look up boys. There's a C 5B Galaxy transport (RCH868) (432 kts) just coming in over chippenham at 37000 ft heading east NE. It looks like it has come from Dover AFB. I wonder what goodies that has onboard. Perhaps it's special Christmas cake for Vlad. It looks like it's going straight on over Colchester. where to..?? Poland.? Lithuania. .?? Estonia..? I've got to go out shooting now so I won't be able to track it. Let me know guys
