JohnfromUK
An interesting article about a new O/U design (albeit based closely on old favourites) and made right here in England by one of the remaining traditional midlands gunmakers. https://shootingsportsman.com/abasseries8/?fbclid=IwAR2yFn4SnmDWMF6kEFjcqp130FbDD2Mh51gJ_vvyn37_Qw73a5BGHyGsfiY Looks wonderful and should especially please our 16 bore followers here. enfieldspares
I handled the supposed "last ever Woodward 16 bore" over and under some years ago. When it was at Elderkin's. My own gun at the time was a 12 bore Boss side by side. 12 bore and 282 barrels. Single trigger. I have to say that I found the Woodward "unhandy" in comparison to my side by side. I'd add that until last year I'd actually never owned and in fact never shot an over and under. So that may be why. And when I did buy a over under, in 2021, no, I couldn't shoot it as well as any of my side by sides. But Brown's work will be top class without doubt.
