farmboy
Good to see that you know what you are doing. I had my debit card cloned a few years back a few years back. They brought 60 quids worth of phone top ups from tesco but the got caught out by a sales person in an argos up in Manchester when they tried to pay for a 700 quid tv and the delivery and card addresses were about 300 miles apart. The bank were a tad slow and I didn't find out what was wrong until I phoned them to ask why my online banking account had been locked. That said the person I spoke to sorted it all straight away and I got all of my money back. I'm glad it was not a credit card company I had to deal with. Good luck, I hope you sort it all. steve_b_wales
Glad it got sorted in the end. I had hell over a cloned debit card last year. They too, used 'my card' for mobile top ups at Tesco's, and a Chinese meal in Aberdeen! I got a refund after waiting 4 months.

We have had very good results in the past and specialise in the return of stolen turnips . On a serious note i can understand the **** you are going through i have been there three times now with scams on my cards . Fortunately i have never had to pay back the loss . The last scam my cards were involved in was according to the police a world wide one involving millions . Harnser .
Mungler
This involved me apparently owing £285 odd following the fraudulent use of my credit card - I didn't owe the money because it was resultant from late / non payments on the account for the period and interest charges resultant from the fraud and I wasn't going to pay it until they showed me how it was "my spending" or my debt. Anyways, despite never getting round to showing me the £285 balance was "my spending" they wrote gazzillions of letters, phoned me and sent bailiffs letters but not once did they ever respond properly to the gazzillions of letters I sent requesting statements / a breakdown and for them to stop harassing me. In the end I sought an injunction in Central London County Court to stop them from contacting me. It's done now and let the shopping commence. Jonsey
Glad this has been resolved Mungler. Well done. I now work for Experian (hmmm...) so as a point of interest, If any of you have anything similar happen to you and you need a credit report then go to www.lowermybills.co.uk for a credit report. This rreport is basically the scoring used by everyone for credit, banks, shops etc and it's what they rate your credit rating on . If you go direct to Experian it'll still cost money but LMB is free. Here's the free warning. Be aware that checking your own credit report can result leaving a print on your credit rating. (it's called a footprint). It's sometimes assumed that the more it's checked the more people have refused you credit. So please be aware. Anyway well done Mungler a great result.
