humperdingle
I’m sure this has been discussed to death but i’m not overly familiar with these two makes of shotgun. So i’m looking for recommendations from people who have owned either or both ATA and KOFS shotguns and could give their opinions on both, as to how they handled, quality of finish, etc.
Rewulf
I've had both. I've still got the ATA. Quality and fit is far better on the ATA.
Ultrastu
As above . The kofs is still a decent gun though I'd get the steel action zenith over the Ali sceptre though .
Centrepin
I have 2 KOFs, 12 & .410, both 30" barrels game gun, but safety's removed. Both bought new. Very light, very harwearing, Very useable, personal choice but I shoot 1/4 1/4 in the 12 and open open in the .410. Works for me. Parts if needed are like the gun, cheap and available, chokes around £14 - £16. Nice wood, decent engraving. I find they handle like a lighter Miroku MK38, with same view down rib etc. Can't comment on the other makes as my other guns of choice are Mirokus. Charliedog
Own a KOFs 20b and shot several thousand through it without any issue, trigger a little bit agricultural though, borrowed an ATA 12b on a sim day and shot really well with it, moved nicely but kicked hard even on light cartridges for me, both decent for the money but try and shoot them rather than a couple of mounts in a gunshop. humperdingle
Cheers for the answers - I had only really heard good things about ATA guns. Might hold off to see what’s happening up here regarding the potential licence hikes 🤔
