30-6
Just went to do a bit of zeroing, with my Sauer 100, and for some stupid reason I put the bolt in the wrong way around, ( handle on left instead of right ). Unable to get it out, if I took stock off is it doable or a gunsmith job. ? Feel free to call me STUPID
rubyred
How can you do that please explain
Spr1985
I always assumed that it could only go in one way. Unless of course it’s an ambidextrous stock where the bolt can be switched to either side…but would expect a blanking plate to be in place that needs removing and placing on the opposite side to switch between left and right. 30-6
The bit on the end which I assume is to dismantle bolt has turned 90 % when I was trying to get it out, it was still stuck with this in correct position. I'm guessing one of the slots in the bolt is in the wrong place. I normally pick gun up in left hand and insert bolt with right hand, but for whatever reason I did the opposite. Nuke
I think there is a solution described in the manual for the gun? /Markus
30-6
Nuke and all of you, many many thanks. There was a solution as per picture. Just got to get end of bolt into correct position and away to go. Might be back if stuck on how to do it.

30-6
I certainly will not. People get frustrated with me because I am slow and careful. What made me do that I don't know. I think things happen for a reason, perhaps I was not meant to be on the farm today, who knows. Wasted a day, when at the moment there's not enough hours in the day. So another important lesson learnt.

Do things at the speed you are comfortable with. Don't let others rush you into making a mistake.
