Just went to do a bit of zeroing, with my Sauer 100, and for some stupid reason I put the bolt in the wrong way around, ( handle on left instead of right ).

Unable to get it out, if I took stock off is it doable or a gunsmith job. ?

Feel free to call me STUPID

I always assumed that it could only go in one way. Unless of course it’s an ambidextrous stock where the bolt can be switched to either side…but would expect a blanking plate to be in place that needs removing and placing on the opposite side to switch between left and right.

The bit on the end which I assume is to dismantle bolt has turned 90 % when I was trying to get it out, it was still stuck with this in correct position.

I'm guessing one of the slots in the bolt is in the wrong place.

I normally pick gun up in left hand and insert bolt with right hand, but for whatever reason I did the opposite.

I certainly will not.

People get frustrated with me because I am slow and careful. What made me do that I don't know.

I think things happen for a reason, perhaps I was not meant to be on the farm today, who knows.

Wasted a day, when at the moment there's not enough hours in the day. So another important lesson learnt.
