Traffic delays app

I was travelling down the M6 on Thursday from Scotland to chesterfield and on the overhead "screens" it was saying 1 hour delay at jn 19 South bound so I pulled off and went an alternative route.

When I got home I could find no information about the alleged issue. Are they correct the overhead screens 🤔

And is there an app that tells you the queue warnings type thingy bob. My car sat nav didn't show any warnings 🤔

Great app that is. +1 for Waze!

👍 I've upgraded my buffer to allow me to use my phone for navigation

Indeed, Google maps for me. Waze has some very strange ideas about what constitutes the fastest route, even its native North America.

Anyone still using an old-school  sat-nav that doesn’t get traffic info/auto updates is missing out. Queue an avalanche of posts from people using road atlases and their ‘common sence’.

Google maps uses live info from all devices in an area with location sharing switched on.

Find it very accurate.
