Bobba
I’ve only ever decoyed pigeons with a rotary so no experience using one for crows. I have heard mixed views from “great” to “scares them off”. I have a choice of decoys for the rotary. A plastic fixed wing landing crow (also useful as a bouncer): 2 hyperflap crows: and , a full body one with spinning wings. Also, a speed controller for slower speeds if necessary Advise / guidance welcomed. Thanks Edited March 5 by Bobba
TIGHTCHOKE
Not tried it either, but like you have heard mixed results. I would go with the Hypa Flap crows and put the bouncer out away from them. As to speed of spinning, I reckon that will require a bit of trial and error. Please post your results as it will be interesting to see what worked and what didn't. oldypigeonpopper
Hello, That is an interesting thought, only ever used crow deeks on a bouncer, or the whirly types, slow speed would be my thinking as the do not fly fast like the pigeon
Stephen-H
Slow for crows fast for pigeons A flapper would be better if you have one a whirly might work if there is a lot of crows & a food source there interested in
