Paul davies Posted March 13 Report Share Posted March 13 (edited) Just double checking on something . I have been asked to shoot some Canada geese on a pond at a farm I have a unit at. The farm is now a livery yards of about 100 acres surrounded by a crops farm (the other farmer is happy to as they graze his feilds ) . Geese are proving a nuisance both to horses and more to the owners concern his large private fishing pond is being destroyed by them with both pollution from the muck and grazing .They freak the horses out for whatever reason. He is reluctant to kill them but has tried other methods and they have failed..(shooing,decoys..disturbance) . So now he came and asked me...Are we withing guidelines to shoot said geese..no young involved all adult ..26 in total now live there..he wants about 2/3rds shot .
