yes far better of taking advice from people who have never had their firearms seized and successfully retrieved them!

You are quite correct, I have never put myself in that position.  However, I do have the experience of actually dealing with the issue and renewal of Firearms and Shotgun Certificates, which included home visits. It was not always the case of having dedicated F.E.O's, the job was done by the area Police Officers.

only on condition you apologise for doubting my word!

clangerman, I will certainly apologise for doubting your word, when you publish full details to support your claim. I trust it won't just be a letter. Full details of your claim that others present were scared would be my starting point.

You offered to publish full details, without any conditions. I accepted your offer. Now you appear to be back tracking.

I wonder why?

and why would you not want to ask could it be the mods would rip you a new one for baiting me into bringing complaints from the plod when named!

I would be genuinely interested to see if clangerman is sincere in what he posts. I will admit I thought he wasn't being totally honest, but offered to apologise if he produced the proof he boasted about.

Sadly, when faced with actually having to produce the proof, he has gone off on one.

I didn't see that coming. 🙂

In reply to OP

I don't know about your case and it's truth, but if you truly havnt warranted this then I'd be looking for immediate support from basc legal. If you leave it without a fight it won't bode well for you.

It's difficult to give advice on your case, but legal advice from basc is the first port of call, they will tell you if you have any chance or not.

Bergara-boy - if the OP is a member of BASC or similar, I totally agree. If he isn't, my advice would be to speak to his FEO. I have more faith in the Police than clangerman and would hope the OP would get a straight opinion.

how long do you plan on trolling me with your childish insults it’s getting boring now!
