these are Youngs cod in bread crumb...and to be fair they arnt half bad..........they would be great in a bun/balm....

going to do a really simple 5 ingredient lamb hotpot with shedded cabbage tomorrow..

Oh, I like fish, we had some tremendous pieces of haddock in Cottesmore the other day and some lovely chips.  :good:

 

But the PROFESSIONAL in the Fish and Chip Shop knew what he was doing..................................................:good:

I agree the oven stuff is very good.  I don't deep fry now; not so much for 'health' reasons, but when I did deep fry, it used a lot of oil, and unless you are using it several times a week (and I didn't) the oil soon goes off and has to be thrown away - thus making it a very expensive way of cooking as I only got 3 or 4 uses out of a filling of oil. 

The oven isn't as good, but it is much easier and cheaper.
