JKD
Pork chops, roasted with small potatoes, parsnips and red onion, with leeks done in a pan. The water from the leeks loosened up the gubbins in the roasting dish,,,, added a small amount of onion gravy powder to thicken, and it was delicious π π Scoffed it down ππ Β Β Β
marsh man
Look very nice JKD , looks might be deceiving but do you like your meat well done ? , my wife was the same , hers had to go in pan or under the grill five minutes before mine , now I go by what it say on the package and add five minutes for the oven to warm up , steamed veg and my gravy are both improving , my weight is now steady , up a little one day and back down a little on another day , although my dog is getting huge with my leftovers .Β

I couldn't be bothered to grill them, so everything went into the same deep oven tray π€π The chops were a bit dry, but were ok with the gravy, which was very tasty π I do usually prefer lamb or chicken when doing this, but fancied pork chops for a change. 35 minutes ago, JohnfromUK said: Looks very nice.Β Onion gravy powder is really useful - one of my go-to's as well. Thank you π That's all I use gravy powders/granules for,,,, thickening and to enhance the flavours from the cooking juices/gubbins/scrapings π
