mellors
Hi anyone splashed out on these. Look a bit strange. Also oversized.
TIGHTCHOKE
Another case of catching the shooters eye rather than the Wood Pigeons eye. Magnum decoys have been tried before, carry half shells and make the pattern believable in the correct place and they should come in. But, if you do splash out, let us know how they perform. mellors
I agree. They say lots sold but they would do. Wouldn't fancy carrying them anyway. Apparently they were used on one of the TGS videos on utube. I assume made in china and marketed from kansas usa.
Down South
A bit like most fishing gear, designed to catch the buyer not the quarry. 😗 Less is more.
TIGHTCHOKE
I have found that the best, most effective decoys have been the Sportplast Half Shells from Italy. Very well made, stand up to quite a bit of punishment and pull the birds in if you have done your bit. They are also lightweight and if you put them on better stakes they are the business. I have recently bought some of the Sillosocks that inflate in the breeze and move about. Extremely lightweight and really do work. I now carry 29 Sportplast half shells and 24 of the Sillosocks in my bergan.
Daffyduck
only ever use silo socks, if your patterns right they work a treat
Sweet11-87
bought a half dozen silo socks of a lad on here middle of summer. they were never somthing that caught my eye to buy outright was more interested in the shells that he was selling but i threw them into my bag to mix in with my "main" decoy gear and i think on their own they're not great but adding moment to a more convincing bunch of decoys they worked incredibly well had my best 2 days ever shooting back to back weekends over them. oldypigeonpopper
Hello, They look realistic enough but how much over size compared to the normal full body decoy ??, Saying this they might do well with some spring type pegs ??, I have been looking at the Pigeon Decoy Socks at A 1 Decoys to go over some full body crow deeks ??
