You can have to much , or not enough of every type of weather when it comes to wildfowling , no point in expecting the geese to keep low if they they go out in a Southerly direction and the wind you are going out in is gale force 8 South / South West direction , a different kittle of fish in the evening when they come back to roost , I have seen them hugging the ground so they don't get blown backwards and the wingbeats are going ten to a dozen and the skein is more or less staying still , memories that will stay with you for ever .
