Christmas Partridge

Having been given a nice oven ready Partridge, it saved me having to give too much thought to Christmas Dinner.

I used the microwave for all the vegetables and the air fryer for the bird.

I protected the breast with some good quality ham and was ready to throw the very outside layers away. But it was all edible and thoroughly enjoyable.

A Cabernet Sauvignon accompanied the meal and the following cheese and biscuits.

Just got back from a walk around part of the estuary , needless to say I didn't see or talk to anyone , my chicken have only just gone in the oven for two and a half hours , didn't really know why I bothered as it seem a lot of work for one meal , last night I had Pheasant casserole and just gave the rest to my dog , now the veg are ready but won't go on for another two hours and the pigs in the blankets might stay in bed, or should I say sty and then do them another day , hope you all had a nice dinner , unless you are like me and have it for your tea .:drinks:

Must have been nice walking around not seeing anyone 🙂 I love my short shooting sessions where I 99% of the time only see my own shadow 😀

Like you, I'm having my dinner later,,,, at around 7 😆

And seasons greetings to you, whats up?

I could have just put the one, but you usually put three, so I went for four.  :P

I tried to put up 4 pictures in my post but I was informed that I had exceeded the upload size and only two had been posted. I then added the next two in a reply and the forum software then merged the reply into the original post. So all 4 pictures are now in one post even thought they are too big but clearly not really too big!

Some of the Narfalk types are a bit precious about pictures, but only some of them.   :cool1:
