B686
Going fishing later today , popped down to see if the lake was frozen over as the one I did a bit on at Christmas is. Luckily this one isn’t . Took these as I thought it looked nice. No fog here but 10mins down the road where I live it’s pretty thick.

B686
Well you gt to be in it to win it. I fished the far end of the lake where one corner has a large bed of Norfolk reeds and it’s about 6 to 7 feet just off the edge of them and you have about 4 ft of water in them . This corner gets the sun more or less from about 9am until it sets and is the shallower end of the lake I fished 2 rods to the reeds in 6ft hoping the sun might just warm the water enough as it’s not that deep, and one in the open water about 12ft all on maggots. It’s paid off as I just had this on one of the rods near the reeds 32lb 8oz common . Well well over the moon. Happy days!

B686
Thanks ,Definitely actually was quite pleasant sitting here in the sun although now it’s gone down it’s instantly dropping in temperature. Think it’s time to pack up with a spring in my step. Hopefully this will prove to my mrs I’m not completely mad. 🤣

B686
Did the night Saturday fishing. Just after midnight bite alarm goes off not a carp though a bloody Tufty duck picked my bait up in 7ft of water in the dark. Little ****!

We used to get the pochards at Mote Park in Maidstone while fishing for the bream. They wouldn't dive anywhere near us, but would still take our worm and caster hookbait 🤬
