As silly as it seems bear with me please,,,,,,,,,

About 6 months ago my fav filleting knife went missing, not expensive but kept a good edge and I have had it for at least 15 years, about the same time my boning knife which I kept in the garage for drawing birds also went missing, we searched high and low and even the compost heap in case they went out with scraps. We assumed they had some how got into the bin and where lost. Last night Mrs P opened the draw and there was my filleting knife we could just not explain it,,,,,,tonight Mrs P is giving blood and due to my cold I cant go so she asked me to pluck and draw the 2 Fezant we where given for picking up and beating on Ferret boys shoot sat, to my complete surprise my Boning knife was laying in the top of the knife draw! Forget all the normal explanations this one is X files stuff and as silly as it may seem its all a bit spooky :good:

I have a "missing" story too -

I have lost my 30" waist. I had one once and can't think where it's gone. (I certainly didnt think to look in the compost heap ! :good:)

I will try the local pub and kebab van next - I am sure they have had something to do with it ! :good::good:

That was me I am afraid- I borrowed the filleting knife, you was out the garage door was open. I did'nt leave it on top of the drawer though, I put it on the workbench beside the reloader. So it is only a slightly spooky story as the object has only moved approximately 6 ft.

As for the boning blade, I have not touched it.

P.S Can I borrow the outboard this weekend- thought I had better ask this time.

My X Files moment is finding money in strange places, I have a permanent "Tooth Fairy".

If I put on an old coat, jacket, or trousers, I am sure to find a £5 or £10 note in one of the pockets.

I have even found it in obscure pockets of fishing and shooting bags, glasses cases, binoculars bag, camera bag, etc.

The weirdest place was inside a hat. :good:

You do understand I ain't complaining now, but worry what price I will have to pay the Dark Forces at the Day of Reckoning. : :good:

Isnt that just the BEST feeling ever ?!

My missus usually frisks my clothes before she picks them up off the bedroom floor. (not that I am lazy or that I would say that is womans work  )

The other day I found a £20 note in my jeans - I think she is losing her touch ! :good::good:

I can't count the amount of times she has washed my Switch card now though :good:

I recently procured thousands of once-fired .410 cases and a .410 Collet Supersizer from the States and was looking forward to de-capping and resizing.

I removed the de-capper from my 28 gauge MEC 600 Jr and had the .410 de-capper in my hand to fit to the aforementioned press. The 28 gauge de-capper rolled off the work-surface and fell onto the garage floor. I retrieved it and then looked for the .410 de-capper. GONE!!!! Haven't seen it since. :good:
