sidibear
Small height electric horsey fence around the garden perimeter. Failing that a .
Cranfield
Because of your location, even snaring would be a problem, contact your local Council. My MIL had a similar problem and they set up a live catch cage and caught three foxes over 10 nights, they left it until 5 nights passed without catching anything, before they took it away. SPARKIE
thinking about it suppose it would at close range just never thought about foxing with a .410 suppose for dispatching would be fine but wouldnt like to hit 1 running at 30 yards
wy111
Apparently there are professional foxing lads around london who shoot from the bedroom windows of properties affected, not sure on rifle though but it is a rifle that is used. Are they getting under any fencing? If so, use snares. If set properly they will soon clear up your problem. If jumping over then a trap may be the best way to go. sidibear
Your garden is about 30 feet not 30 yards In the confines of your garden I am certain a .410 would drop a fox Caged and then dispatched sounds the best option. But not actually having ever shot a fox I am not really in a position to debate their resilliance to being shot at.

catroofel
dont think a .410 would drop a fox beg to differ as i have killed many a fox with a .410 no problem at all. but yeah i think a cage trap would be the sensible road. henry d
snares in a residential area? only if you want your neighbours to smash your face in for killing their cat. A properly set, legal, snare will not kill a cat. SPARKIE - I have some snares FOC if you want some.
