Big_Sam
I would think it would not be much quieter than a .410 So quite loud really.

codling99
ive used my 9mm ,in my brothers back garden on rats, and theres been people walking down the street about 40-50 yds away, and they didnt even look up.they are really quiet for a shotgun,i reckon they not much difference in loudness to clapping your hands, maybe quieter imho. deff quieter than my 410. but louder than an airgun

Emmsy
theres one in our gun cabinet but ive never fired it, will have to dig out some ammo and try it out. whats its range like??
Cranfield
They are only effective over a very short range. An air rifle would have a much longer killing range. I have owned two and one gun was significantly louder than the other, even when using the same loads, I have no idea why. I was always told that the name "Garden Gun" related to the fact that the shot load was so light, that they didn't cause structural damage and could be used round garden sheds etc.
tikkamark
The old 1960's green cardboard, Eley Blackpowder, 'Double Charge', No. 3 Flobert shell, was LOUDER than a .410! Best if you use a Lyalvale 2" .410 No. 9 shot through one of these: or a Browning 'Little Skeeter 12/.410 FC Thats a very interesting chamber adapter f,c what way would you stand regarding a shotgun cert for that-what i mean is would you need a .410 licence to get ammo for it??
