njc110381
I'm after a pouch for rimfire ammo. After a long and wasted evening searching the net, I thought I'd ask on here. Anyone know where I can buy one, preferably leather and that will hold at least 20 rounds?

henry d
Whats wrong with Eley`s, they come in a handy box with a lid that slides so that you can drop 5 or 10 into your hand to fill your mag with the right number of squibs for your mag ?? The hmr rounds come in a handy box but in your pocket there very noisy rattling about in the box I have been on the lookout for a pouch for the hmr rounds for ages and have found nothing you would think manufactures would have spotted the need for a decent rimfire pouch, something similar to the design of most centerfire pouches but with a 30-40 round capacity would be nice
wy111
I can see what your getting at, but I just empty a box(.17hmr) into a waterproof jacket pocket and rebox when I've done. It works for me, can reload mag in the dark or cold

Have a look at these, the only problem is the postage, if you got enough people interested in ordering through you it would work out fine!!. http://www.midwayuk.com/apps/eproductpage....leItemID=157826

njc110381
Thanks for the links. I think I may try markbivvys idea of making a drawstring bag, I don't much like plastic kit as a rule. Maybe I can make use of one of the other halfs handbags, I'm sure she wouldn't mind me cutting a bit of leather off if I ask nicely

If your mrs can afford that you're obviously not spending enough on your shooting! Thinking about it I did once make something similar for .38cal balls for my catapult when I was a kid. I made it from thick chamois leather cut in a circle with a shoe lace threaded through holes around the outside. I'll give that a go

chunk
I use a drawstring bag that some sunglasses come in. Ideal size to slip in a pocket. If you ask about somebody will have one as they`re often not put to their intended use.
SAVAGE HMR
I put mine in an old beanie hat then in to my pocket, works for me, lots of padding and no noise!
casts_by_fly
I prefer to carry multiple magazines. I have 4 for my HMR that hold 5 each. I have 2 for my 22LR that hold 7 each. If I think I'll get more shooting than that I throw a plastic box in my pocket since I usually buy CCI ammo and they come nicely packed. thanks, rick
codling99
i use cci s,and the plastic box it comes in,you can take the bit that holds the bullets in place out,and put a bit of tissue in bottom ,then replace plastic bit,and it stops bullets rattling . They must have cost well over £100. I bet Mark Bivvy is having a fit Don
casts_by_fly
Don, I moved here from the states in July. Back home savage magazines were $10 or less and it came with two when I bought it. The mags for my 22 were $3-$5. Thanks, Rick
