I had a thought i have never seen a camo Over/Under now i haven't been shooting long so theres prob some somewhere but i haven't seen one

So my question is there any available ?

i see quite a few semi autos in realtree etc escorts and Webley & Scott,s etc etc

but never a over/under !!!

Anyone care to cast an opinion why theres not something in synthetic realtree avilable in over/under as i have looked high and low to find sutch an item for sale but cant find one :hmm:?

is there simply no call for them or is it that extra shot you get in the semiauto that rules them out , i would have thought picking all your shells up after a days shoot a slight chore .... and i have also had a struggle finding a over under in synthetic for less than a grand !!

all i came up with was this and they don't make it any longer !!!

Iv gogled and looked at alsorts of site but have been quite fruitless in my search ! what am trying to find Is where is the closest range to me in shropshire ? I only know of the bog at minsterly but they only have upto 100mtr ranges and i would like to shoot over a greater distance lik 200 - 400 meters or is this just never goignt to happen ?

If not then i will just stay small bore and go .22 for bunnies and target ! but it would feel less of a challenge and less rewarding with next to no satisfaction of the recoil etc of sending a large round acuratly down range ! :hmm:

you can have them dipped or get socks for them, most dont bother as alot of people consider camo for your gun a gimik.

To be honest i think a camo O/U would look awful.

Semi realtree dipped is ok, but only as it wasnt a good looking gun to start with.

I'm seeing the occasional quote lead to the wrong post lately, likewise if I Google "black beast nosely hall" in reference to a thread I started I get a PW result... but the wrong one.

Is somat gone Pete Tong?

Please reply to this in my own thread to avoid going off topic - I only posted here to highlight the point.

They used to make loads os O/U in camo but people used to lean them in the hedge whislt lightin a fag or takin a leak, then the poor **** couldnt

find it again! :yp: ;):D

Only jokin but it would be funny as hell....you put your camo gun up against the tree to light a fag 6 pigeons come in, you grab the gun and start blasting away with a branch!!:lol::lol:

how much is real tree dipping

Too damn expensive to put on a gun. Buy the Browning one and just because it is 3.5" chamber, doesn't mean you cant shoot 2 1/2", 2 3/4" or 3" shells from it. I have too question why anybody wants to fire 42g and up shells in an O/U, they're just asking for shoulder/back/neck/cheek problems. If you want to fire big loads use a Semi Auto.

I have the Browning Gold Hunter S/A in Realtree and it cycles everything from 24g upto 60g in all shell sizes and is comfortable on the shoulder with little or no felt recoil. Oh and I have never put it down and not found it again.
