A Sick Old Man
I think Brookwood is the closest, http://maps.live.com/?q=&mkt=en-gb&...jg5NDUzMTI2MQ==
Cranfield
Brookwood is the nearest station, about 1 mile away with a bus service. Woking station probably has a lot more choice of trains and a better connection service, but is a bit further away. The best bet is to go to the National Rail website and fill in a journey planner, that will give you the best , fastest and cheapest options. MM
russ, if you apply online for a yp railcard at the mo, they are half price, and then you save 1/3 on the fare.

Dr W
How long are you planning on staying down there? Have you thought about getting the megabus or national express, that might be cheap
russ91
ill be going for 20 days ill hav a look now at the megga bus thing
Dr W
I've seen it's about £3.50 on a friday for the 5.50am which gets in at 10.30am or a £10 for the other times but going back as it's a wed it's mainly only £1 if you book well in advance (which you can't do yet as it's too soon). Easy enough to get a train from London to Brockenwood. I'd give you a lift but I think I'll be going down Sat morning and not Friday
