gixer1
Hey folks, Thanks for the prompt reply, I've ended up going for CZ452 style with synthetic and nickel in 16" with SAK moderator, a Hawke 3-10 x 44 nite eye illuminator scope, CNR (?) mounts, a padded slip, 100 rounds and a harris bi-pod, all brand new and got it for £479, the good thing being that the dealer is local and i don't have to pay the £55 postage it costs on top of buying anything down south as i am in Aberdeen Scotland. also looked at a Sako and Tikka but the CZ was the one that felt good and looked appealing! Hopefully this was the right move! Regards, Garry.

dazza
the RFD's fee should be no more than £
stuey
sorry to hijack, but looking for a 22 rimmie myself. Trouble is I'm a leftie and can't seem to find any 22 rimmie with synthetic stock. Does anyone know if someone does a leftie in synthetic that doesn't break the bank? Was thinking CZ American 16" and then just add a hogue stock, or go custom 10/22 but not sure about the path of the ejected bullets? cheers stu
Baldrick
I'm a fellow lefty, Stuey. There isn't a L/H synthetic .22 on the market. I ended up with a CZ452 American, and an Anschutz. Both blued/walnut, with no hope of finding an aftermarket synthetic stock for either. I have been hunting around for a new stock for the CZ, having broken it (and glued it). If you do find a synthetic L/H stock, I'd be keen to hear. The Hogue website doesn't offer much hope, from what I can see. njc110381
I'd get a standard CZ452 not a style. Get the 16" model and a SAK mod. Then spend all the change you have on a good scope like a Leupold. If you can find a used swarovski or schmidt & bender then that would do the trick too. Always spend as much on a scope as you can. I had a Simmons on my airgun and thought they were great, couldn't see the point in paying a fortune for a scope. Then I got into rifles in a big way and looked through a mates S&B. You wouldn't believe how much better they are, especially at dusk. It really is true that you should spend more on the scope than the rifle
mr smith
the RFD's fee should be no more than £20 Normally £25 around my way.If he'd ordered one from down south he would have the sending RFD fee including postage and the recieving RFD fee as well.At least thats how they do it here.
