They never worked even in the 80's - them a stone washed shrink to fit / drain pipes.

Indeed, I can't believe the 80's fashions have made any come back.

As for the 90's, now your talking, Lara Croft hair, short skirts and FM Boots. Ticks all the boxes for me.

Anyway, white jeans are a no no, really trashy and skanky.

I voted trendy, but them I'm the least trendy person you could ever meet. M&S does it for me.

Baz - as long as she's wearing jeans let her be, it's when she's wearing micro skirts you want to start worrying!!

Wife says white jeans on a girl are naff.

Mate, they will never do what you want them to or marry who you want them to.

Just be grateful jeans cover the whole lot up!

Agree to her wearing them but on the condition you get to buy the pair that are 2 sizes to big and enforce a rule that she can only wear them with bright orange braces. Job done on all levels.

;)

Been there, both of mine are married, divorced, remarried (one to a scouser, but you can't win them all) your problems ain't begun yet!

Baz,

Let her work it out herself.

Anyway, are you qualified to comment on fashion when you looked like this in your younger days ?? :D:D:yes:

I think they're ok, but it really depends what she's wearing with them? If it's a short coat with a fake fur collar, not good! If it's a hoodie or jumper, things could be worse IMO.

Look at it this way. If your young but well developed daughter ever walks home from a friends place at the dark end of an evening (doesn't have to be late), jeans are a lot harder for an over enthusiastic lad to get into than a skirt. I'd be happy that the important bits are well tied up and out of easy reach, even if it does look a bit naff to us oldies. Statistics say girls in jeans are much less likely to get attacked because it's too hard to get what's wanted. Think positive, it could be a lot worse :hmm:

OoOoO dont get me started about the colour of jeans, for example my brother has taken to wearing a pink belt and black pin striped drain pipe jeans, but even worse than that the other day he was going out to see some friends in some turquoisey pecocky blue jeans with the pink belt and this is just one step towards the white jeans.

So I am not a great fan. :hmm:
