The reason for asking is a lot of members seem to sign off with LOL after each post irrespective of whether or not the post is humorous. "sorry to hear that your budgies is dead LOL" "I always use No6 shot for crows LOL" " I always use innappropriate abbreviations LOL" etc. I may be wrong but it seems a bit unnecessary.
