fortune
This is a shame. I’ve just got back from Protaras on Thurs. I stayed at the Sunrise for a fortnight. We could have meet up and had a beer. I asked around about any clay shooting in the area and no one I asked knew of anything in the area. Is there any? I was surprised to see a couple of healthy woody’s whilst we were there and what looked like either a hare or a young fox that had been run over. On the other hand it might have been a ginger tom cat !
cyprus grandad
hi fortune. was it warm enough for you haha!! 5 minutes drive from protaras there is a clay shooting ground at paralimni on the paralimni to sotira road. i can hear them shooting from agia napa so you should hear them from prot on a quiet night. theres also clay grounds at agia nicaloas (sovereign base area near vrysoulles) about 15 minutes drive. cant do them myself cos the medication i,m on makes me bruise to easy. if anyone is coming over i can send you a map of the ones i know. big sport and pastime here bearing in mind theres national service so they grow up with weapons. also loads of roadkill you have to see how they drive here paul

If you guys remember i wanted to get a couple of cockers, that I now have. Clay pigeon shooting is in Paralimni, just 10 mins from protaras. They have 2 skeet set ups OT and a couple of small sporting come compct setups. If you are over again, let me know we could go I have my gun and we could borrow one from the ground, it might cost you a £1 though. If you look at www.fsbproperties.com thats me, I live in Avgorou village just 20 mins from Ayia Napa and 25 mins from kapparis. Nice to know some of you fellas out here, could do with a shooting buddy. As for the woodys, yes the season is coming up and there seems to be a number of them about, but we maybe restricted on shooting them due to EU directives grrrrr! Does you head in all this EU ********. As for the locals being trigger happy, mate nothing wa ain't seen back at home from people who enjoy this stuff. There are some 40K licenced SGC holders, how many in the UK?? Anyway, good to meet your aquaintance, hope to talk to you soon.
