Evil Elvis
Tyler has always been a mad keen fishergirl and has been accompanying me on my shooting forays a lot lately....she has never asked to fire the rinmmies....tonight she asked if they hurt like the shottie.....after i explained there was noo recoil she was well away. She struggled a lot at first, but once she tried left handed(Im sure she is left eye dominant she started punching holes in an empty tin at 50 yards with regularity.......she now want s to shoot a bunny.....but i dont sthink shes quite ready for that yuet......wont be long!!!! MM
i think its great to get the kids involved cant wait for my lad to get a bit older famous last words always thought mine would grow out of the "whats that do dad" phase. the questions become more frequent and a damn sight harder to answer. nothing better though that doing things with your kids that they will remember for the rest of time.

SAVAGE HMR
The farmers Grandson follows me around asking questions all the time. He's at the really awkward age where all he asks is "whats that? What does that do? Why? How? I don't mind though, he's more than happy to carry rabbits and help gut them. kind of like having a minion!

Ice
...tonight she asked if they hurt like the shottie.....after i explained there was noo recoil she was well away. I took my sister about 2 weeks ago with the shottie, she watched for a while then decided she wanted a go..... i showed her how to hold it, told her the worst thing she could do was to be afraid of it, told her to grasp it tight, she didnt quite trust me i dont think (being a big brother always playing pratical jokes etc) and just before she fired she moved it out of her shoulder and bang..... One beautifully dead arm So i explained why it happened, 15min later she had another shot and loved it, only problem then was i couldnt get the gun back off her.... we were shooting tennis balls trown by hand (great fun, easy to see and reusable ) , before the plod question live quarry.....
