taz24
. I enjoy stripping down my gun and cleaning it. I find it quite theraputic and calming. I try to clean it after every outing but every 4th or 5th outing I will completely strip it down and give it a good clean and check over. Do you enjoy cleaning your gun or is it just a chore? Cheers taz.

Ice
Ive only got a shottie at the moment so cleaning isnt really a a huge job, although i quite enjoy it, the end result after a good going over is pleasing I havent yet tried taking the main stock assembly appart yet (to gain access to the main workings) because i dont know what is in their, so if it aint broken.... i aint going to try and fix it. Wookie
I find it quite theraputic really. You can just switch off your mind and do it without really thinking about it. Apart from the smell of the bore cleaner...
Markio
Gah, it's about as interesting as filling you car up with fuel. Therapeutic would be me drinking a beer watching you clean my gun.

bob300w
One of the joys of owning a Beretta S/A 300 series, chromed bore, you clean it every 5 years or when it stops working, whichever comes first. (usually the 5 years).

JonnyR
I like to keep mine bright and shiny before every outing. More of an indulgence than a chore.... As an old school chum of mine used to say... I was cleaning it sir and it just went off. JonnnyR.
Wookie
I think it is just habit from my days in the cadets... You shoot the SA80, you clean it afterwards. I actuallyt feel guily when I don't clean the 12b's after using them and always give the .17 a bit of "pull-through love" after a session with the bunnies. Funnily though, the .22 never gets anything more than a rub down with a cloth.
