This is a good time of year to hunt them in the daytime,as theyre wandering home from a night out on the town chasing women, reminds me wher I need to be tomorrow at midday as whilst out with Lurchers today there was a lone dog calling in the moors about 1 this afternoon,be a shame for him not to have a HOT55grain date !

"I have shot many foxes during daylight hours. Normally, I go after them at first light. This is the best time I get to see them. I have also seen them while pigeon shooting mid-afternoon. "

First light is my preference too,for whatever reason I find foxes seem less wary at that time & i've shot a few at under 40yds. This time of year I do see them sometimes in the afternoon but it seems to follow no routine pattern.
