kdubya
there is a free flying group of Macaws that live in skipton , these maybe what you saw, I remember the first time I saw a pair flying over the bridge as you head out of Skipton towards Tbay I thought I was seeing things, BUT my local park now has a wild colony of green parrot ( that the expert rspca think are very very rare escaped parrot) soft gets! so perhaps you just saw some of the many wild parrot now living in the UK cheers KW

libs
May be a paraquet. We get them in flocks of up to 100 occasionally, and the noise they make is awful. They are forcing out native birds as they are very agressinve. Cant wait till they are legal to shoot (which they will be) seeing how they dart about at incredibly speed.
