Mungler
We need to arrange a pre-meet in a cafe. Might be a problem because we are very early doors. Meet up at one of the maccas on the A12 or will the regular cafe be open? Over to you Mr C

Mungler
Its a 9 a.m off (ready on the stand and off), so allowing for final travel, booking in etc we would need to be out of the cafe at 8.15 at the latest. I don't think the cafe opened before 8 a.m. <hat goes back into the ring>

MC
I will phone the cafe today and ask them if they will open early on saturday for us, if there is going to be enough of us going there. I don't suppose they will open early for 2 cups of tea and a bacon roll.
Evil Elvis
No but if theres at least 10-14 of us they should!!!!! The consolation is that the amount we all eat that they will have to close early through lack of food to cook Edited April 15, 2009 by Evil Elvis

The consolation is that the amount we all eat that they will have to close early through lack of food to cook I have just spoken to the Cafe, They will open at 7.30AM for us to have breakfast there before shooting. I did ask him to open at 7.45 and he offered to open at 7.30. I will aim to get there at 7.30 but it will depend on Chard getting up early and making the tea. MC
I expect I'll be out on my 40 mile pre-breakfast jog There be none of that health concious nonsense in my house. Interestingly enough halstead is about 20 miles from my house so you could jog there and back first if you like

Catamong
I can just see another chapter in the "MC Book of Excuses" being written..........goes something like "I knew I shouldn't have had that Double Mega Gutbuster Special at the Halstead Cafe this morning...........groan, oops, there goes another pair" Cat
MC
You seem to be leading the way where excuses are concerned. I will go and shoot my best, no excuses like "I have a new gun" or the weather is against me. I will hit what I hit and miss what I miss. I have no need to prove myself to anyone, least of all you. Peter De La Mare
Cat, looks like the weather is really spectacular on Sunday, so that means an extra 10 kills for you without even trying! So that means you have to score at least 40 more than the rest of us in order to win. Sounds fair to me.
MC
PDLM, You are forgetting that he has a new gun, and that his lucky hat is in the wash, and the sun will be in his eyes, and the wind will be in the wrong direction.
